An emerging young designer based in the city of Porto, northern Portugal. Sergio’s designs are not limited to a specific school or idea, but rather often based on art&craft or use of organic materials within the design process. Each project may differ greatly from the next as he experiments with new mediums and allows each project to dictate the best way to communicate.
Sergio’s inspirations can be found in other national and international designers, as well as in typical national visual stimuli such as craft, gastronomy, national culture and playful use of typography.
His main focusses have been on creating posters for cultural events, which allow for greater experimentation and creativity. He also has some projects with editorial design and corporate identity.
